Part of being a pet owner is making sure your little furry friend is always healthy and happy.  And Katherine Heigl is setting a good example for dog lovers everywhere.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” babe was spotted yesterday taking her four pooches, Weezer, Stella, Romeo, and Piper to a grooming salon in Los Angeles, California.  And while the pups are all relatively small, the sheer volume of them made for an interesting trip.

We spotted her leaving LAX and landing in NYC early yesterday, and we’ve caught up with Jessica Simpson, who has been gallivanting around the Big Apple.

The “Dukes of Hazzard” actress was seen with her mother, Tina, and her BFF/hairstylist Ken Paves leaving their hotel and arriving at the swanky Waverly Inn for dinner last night.

When you’re trying to spruce up an old brand, it never hurts to have plenty of celebrity presence at the launch party.  And with Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere and Kristen Bell at the helm for the “New Old Navy” event last night, held at New York City’s Eyebeam Atelier, they’re off to a good start.

Miss Hayden jetted up to NYC, after her “Save the Whales Again” schedule in Washington D.C. was complete, to attend the event.  She wore a very classy cream blouse with a long black skirt, and some super-red lipstick, circa 1940s.

It’s been a moment in the making ever since their on-screen chemistry in “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” hit theaters.  And last night, Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey helped usher in “Fool’s Gold.”

The Hollywood red carpet event was almost ruined, though.  Kate Hudson left fans waiting in the cold, showing up about an hour late for the event.  But when she got there, the wait was well worth it.

We were all hoping that she’d get the help she needs, and now it looks like Britney Spears may finally be on the long road to recovery.

Earlier this morning, the “Gimme More” singer was transported by ambulance (with a police escort motorcade) to the UCLA Medical Center and placed on a psychiatric hold.  She arrived around 1am.

Continuing her sunny vacation, away from the northern winter blahs, Avril Lavigne was spotted taking a dip in the pool at her resort in Miami, Florida yesterday.

The “Girlfriend” singer was looking cute in a sky blue two-piece bathing suit, along with some rock star shades, as she sipped a drink.

He already has two children with his ex-wife, “Kill Bill” star Uma Thurman.  And it’s just been announced that Ethan Hawke will become a father once again.

His babymamma is none other than Ryan Shawhughes, the former nanny to his children.  And both expectant mother and father are said to be tickled about the news.

She spent the past week promoting her new movie “The Eye” in New York City. And now, Jessica Alba, along with fiance Cash Warren, have made their grand return to Los Angeles.

The parents-to-be were spotted early Wednesday morning at LAX airport - looking a bit unhappy at the photography coverage awaiting their arrival.
